About Tenncaster Sports

Thanks for stopping by Tenncaster Sports. This blog is about what sports fans in middle Tennessee might track on a regular basis. From University of Tennessee athletics to Tennessee Titans football, I will cover many sports-related topics. Then there's also that natural draw toward the Atlanta Braves and all things fantasy-sports related.
Ever since I was young, I've always had a huge interest in sports. My first love was Volunteer football, starting with the "Miracle in South Bend" in 1991 as an 8-year-old kid in Nashville. Now, more than 17 years later, this miracle has turned into a vast passion for all things sports. Accordingly, I have a Bachelor's degree in journalism from UT and for nearly two years was a sports reporter at The Daily Times - a newspaper in East Tennessee. However, since the newspaper industry has faded considerably in recent years, I've decided to turn my attention toward Internet reporting.
